El día que se perdio la cordura was a disappointment. An implausible and confusing plot, weak imagery, and translated dialogue made it difficult to follow and enjoy. Even though there were moments of suspense, the characters weren’t memorable and the vocabulary wasn’t deep. If you’re looking for an exciting thriller, you’ll be better off looking elsewhere.
I was pleasantly surprised by The Guest List by Lucy Foley. Set at a lavish wedding on a small island off the coast of Ireland, the novel follows five characters, each with secrets that could threaten the wedding. With its dramatic atmosphere and clever mystery, I was drawn to the stories of the characters and their inner insecurities. I would definitely recommend this fast-paced, thrilling book to anyone looking for a clever mystery and interesting characters.
